Multipurpose SSLIA Agent (M/F)

The position
Reporting to Laurent, our Airport Safety and Fire Prevention (SSLIA) expert, you will play a key role in security, fire prevention, fueling, and the smooth running of airport operations. Combining rigor, organization, and a small-business mindset, your responsibilities will be concrete and varied.
Your tasks
Safety – Rescue – Firefighting (SSLIA)
- To ensure operational monitoring and intervene in the event of a fire or aircraft accident,
- To provide first aid to passengers or staff in the event of an incident,
- Conduct fire prevention patrols,
- Ensure the maintenance of equipment and regulatory checks for the SSLIA (Fire and Rescue Service Intervention and Assistance Service)
- Participate in the management of wildlife hazards on the platform.
Runway operation and management
- Perform runway opening and closing inspections,
- Check the condition of surfaces and report any hazards or anomalies (GRF)
- Perform visibility and slipperiness measurements,
- Perform runway compliance checks,
- Manage runway access permissions for people and vehicles,
- Write up intervention reports, fence inspections and runway visits and send them to the managers.
Ground handling and aircraft services
- Providing ground guidance for aircraft, positioning, placement of chocks and installation of ramps,
- Carry out the loading and unloading of luggage and freight,
- Participate in welcoming passengers and crew and processing passengers according to quality and safety standards,
- To de-ice the aircraft,
- Make the electrical connections to the ground,
- To monitor the technical needs of aircraft.
Fuel management and refueling
- To refuel aircraft in compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards,
- Ensure the daily management of the fuel depot: checks, purging, basic maintenance,
- Complete the regulatory monitoring forms,
- Ensure the conformity of the installations.
Additional tasks
- Participate in the maintenance of equipment, technical facilities and green spaces,
- To contribute to the team's versatility in a spirit of cooperation and efficiency,
- Process flight statistics.
Desired profile
We are looking for someone who already has a solid foundation in airport security and rescue professions, ideally holding a valid airport firefighter qualification.
Required qualifications and training
- Heavy goods vehicle licence with ADR qualification (mandatory),
- CACES R489 (2B and 3),
- CACES R486 (B),
- Refueler and ramp agent training courses
- A clean criminal record is essential for access to the airport area
- Having worked less than two years ago in a fire and rescue service (SPV – SPP – BSPP – BMPM – SIS).
Job requirements
- Fixed-term contract – Full-time (35 hours)
- Evening and weekend work – on-call duty,
- Between €24k and €25k (over 13 months), depending on profile and experience.
All mandatory training courses are funded by the employer.
