Serving the Rouen metropolitan area and its surrounding region, the Rouen-Vallée de Seine airport is a key public infrastructure, dedicated to mobility and the economic development of the territory.
Created in 1937 and modernized several times, notably with the construction of the current terminal in 1997, the airport has hosted regular flights to Lyon and other destinations.
Today, it focuses on high value-added activities: business aviation, medical flights, recreational aviation and military training .

Platform dedicated to medical evacuations (EVASAN) and SAMU helicopter base, in connection with the University Hospital of Rouen.

Military training
Training ground for the Air Force, Naval Aviation and Army.
Aerial work
Specialized missions for logistics, surveillance, assistance and transport of equipment, contributing to the economic dynamism and security of the territory.
Beyond these missions, the airport constitutes a structuring tool for the Rouen metropolitan area and its catchment area of 800,000 inhabitants, serving a dense economic fabric comprising 45,000 companies and 300,000 jobs.
